Together with ART 2030, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen has created a largescale performance project incorporating Goals 4, 8, 10 and 12.
Taking the form of a sculptural performance, the work shines a critical light on the Western World’s over-consumption, with a particular focus on the textile industry, and the many layers of production that precedes our clothes.
For Tow with the Flow, the artist and ART 2030 have partnered with sur le chemin to design and produce 17 “all-in-one” costumes inspired by the Global Goals.
Tow with the Flow was part of Roskilde Festival’s Art & Activism program July 2018. The performance will show next time in Copenhagen at SMK September 1st. In late September a realization of Tow with the Flow will take place as part of ART 2030 New York in collaboration with students from New Design High School.
